My great grandmother was an honest medium, now you label her as disturbed, naive or not intelligent. This is the sort of crap I expect from die-hard sceptics, your like scientists in a way, only one logical explanation for everything and if anyone shows a hint of disagreeing you attack them.

I dont agree with what Sibley did as you can see with my post, but there is such things as honest mediums, mediums who do not purposely go out looking for easy victims, who do not read doom and gloom and leave people with negative thoughts, who do not ask for money in what they do.

You say honest mediums is a paradox, what about sceptics they are equally a paradox, because can sceptics prove there is no mediums or spiritualists alive today? I bet you cant.

I can't prove no mediums exist...but I also can't prove that the tooth fairy and Santa don't exist.

These things don't work that way, it is impossible to prove a negative.

Not that I want to get into a debate about it I very much doubt that your grandmother was a medium on the sole basis that for such powers to exist all known laws of science would have to be rewritten. The odds of psychic powers existing are so low it's impossible to measure.

Though I realise that you seem to be embedded in the believer camp so I won't try and change your mind as it'll be fruitless.

I asked him to contact my deceased grandmother and ask her three simple questions, all of which she would have known, in order to prove what he's saying is true (he's always going on about how he has proved it to thousands of people...)...

Needless to say he made up countless excuses, the main one being he's not doing readings anymore...though he did take time to say to me that some of my deceased family members are very disappointed in me for not having faith in Charlie.

Shame they didn't bother to tell him the answer to my questions.

You are talking crap again, A skeptic is sombody who doesn't just believe what they are told and ways up the evidence and actually uses the brain they was born with.

your grandmother obviously had a vivid imagination and liked sharing it with ppl gullible enough to fall for standard cold reading, you are also blinded because of love for her. It is extremely easy to understand how mediums do what they do if you actually listen to how its really done.

There is allot of ppl out there who either cant comprehend how it is truly done or are just complicit enough to just believe how it is presented, which is a dangerous way to live.

If this world run still run by ppl like that we would still be in the dark ages and we wouldn't have made such advances that we have today.

If you want to live in your world of ignorance then that is fine you can do that, But i and allot of other ppl in the real world choose to actually look at things and not automatically accept what we are told it is they need us to believe.

When you are a child because your brain hasn't learned enough knowledge you are told god and Santa exist, then when your brain has developed enough you actually realize that these are just comfort blankets for your brain.
