Yes it is true, in what must be the most ridiculous scandal to ever hit the Acorah family, Derek Acorah's eyebrows have cause the closure of his own Official Derek Acorah Forum.
The forum at http://www.derekacorahforum.org is now offline after an incident at Derek's recent show in Southport.
At the show, which is regularly frequented by Derek Acorah fans from his official forum, one of the group approached Derek.
They could have asked any question, they could've asked about the workings of the afterlife, they could've asked about Dereks spirit guide Sam, they could even have asked about what he thought of Yvette.
But no, these are Derek Acorah fans so you need lower the level of intelligence a touch, the young fan said
"Kay's asked me to ask you what's the matter with your eyebrows?"
(Firstly it needs to be established that Kay is the owner and admin of Derek Acorahs official forum)
Well Derek of course reeled back in shock, what a question to ask.
The problem was that the question was not asked in a jocular fashion, instead it was made almost as a demand.
Derek left the scene of the incident, shocked.
Other fans of Derek heard what had been asked, and took the hump on Dereks behalf, they later asked Kay why on earth she would pass on amessage like this to be asked.
She has denied that she asked for the message to be passed on.
Since then things have just escalated from there.
Emails have been sent, arguments have gone out of control, and Eyebrowgate is now the most serious catastrophy to ever face the Acorah family.
We approached Derek Acorah for comment, but he was too upset to comment.
Everyone here at BadPsychics are totally shocked, and upset.
Derek's Eyebrows are a national institution, we are considering starting a charity in support of Derek's eyebrows.
If we have any more news of this very serious news story then we wil bring it to you.

I have just been informed that the website in question has now being re-opened!
Eyebrowgate is finally open.

 Re: Eyebrowgate - Derek's Eyebrows cause closure of ...Something to consider here is that Kay personally knows and has the personal contact information for Acorah and his wife, Gwen...their telephone number, in fact... so why would she need to ask someone from the forum (who doesn't even know them personally) to ask him any question at all? Particulary a tactless one dealing with his personal appearance? That alone should have given you pause.
I find it particularly interesting that this information appeared on this website almost as quickly as it occurred...strange how you or someone from this site always seems to be right on the scene when something like this happens. What are you, stalking him? Or have you just planted 'spies' on his forum to inform you whenever something potentially 'juicy' happens? Seems like quite a desperate attempt to come up with 'news'. I have been to this site quite a few times but seem to see the same stories on it all the time. And why is so much of this stuff from the 80s?? That is 20 years past being 'breaking' news. |
