Article : Kevin Horkin & Six Degrees of Psychic Separation
Posted by admin on 2010/3/2 11:09:02 (677 reads)

What have Gary Mannion, Gwyrch Castle, a spectral photograph bearing a striking resemblance to Emma Watson, Sally Morgan, some botox, cheap specs, Jack Duckworth’s pigeons, and a fair sized wedge of self-promotion got in common?

In something of a paranormal "six degrees of separation” there seems to be one name right now that links them all.

Kevin Horkin.

You would be forgiven for asking “Kevin who?”
Up until a few weeks ago when a plethora of stories and promotion seems to have sprung forth from the ether he wasn't the first name on my or anyone else's mind. But Mr Horkin has been around for quite some time now with a finger in some very varied pies not least the latest venture he’s undertaken in the psychic merry-go-round circuit of promotion and management with a psychic school in the offing also.

In The News.. : Karl Pilkinton recalls a ghost story told to him by Derek Acorah
Posted by admin on 2010/2/23 13:24:00 (275 reads)

The first episode of the new animated show The Ricky Gervais Show aired recently on HBO in America.

This animated series uses the original recordings of The Ricky Gervais Show podcasts featuring Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and the legendary Karl Pilkinton.

In the first episode Karl recalls a story told to him by Derek Acorah of all people about a "haunted" Tankard of sorts that caused anyone who touched it to die.

I did actually ask Derek about this and he says that he made it clear that it was a myth.

We believe the Tankard in question is from The Skirrid Inn in South Wales.

Anyway its a really funny clip and to see Derek in cartoon form is quite cool.
