OH PLEASE _ I thought the world was finally starting to move from the deluded notion that Ghosts / Spirits can be detected using EMF meters!
Next we will be reading that Ghosts emit Infrasound - actually now I comne to think of it Elephants and lots of other animals can communicate over very long distances using Infrasound so maybe it is a viable means of communicating with 'the other side' which is almost certainly a very long way away - hmmm I feel a hypothesis coming on!!!!!! |

Time to play "Taps" for TAPS? There goes the only group I thought had any credibility and demanded only scientific evidence. They've now been led astray by the Pied Piper of the Scam, Chris Fleming, IMO.
Maybe Most Haunted will have an opening and invite Chris to join. He'd be a perfect candidate. |

I'm curious about what you have to say about the other findings that appeared during this particular episode (ex. the bang following them asking the spirit to give a sign, the temperature dropping upon demand, and the recordings of the voices). Part of me thought they may have started embellishing things for ratings because almost every other episode I've seen of TAPS they have debunked the case or came back inconclusive but this episode did make me wonder. What do you think?

This episode has officially destroyed any hope I might have that Ghost Hunters ever took investigating seriously. Their credibility has gone straight down the drain (as plumbers, that won't pose a problem).
As soon as Fleming appeared I knew it was a bust. And that stupid K2 meter... Take heart, friends. Chris has produced, directed and stars in a pilot TV series called "Lost Souls" which may just draw all the gullible fans of Ghost Hunters and then some away TAPS series. I predict Season 4 will be Ghost Hunters last. BTW, here's the URL for Crhis's brainchild: http://www.lostsouls.tv/ Hope it works for UK posters. |

I just started watching this series and I found it to be very amusing. But I am 99% sure that 'reality' show is scripted all the way through. and the last 1% thinks that the moving chairs and the knocked over sound-man is fake. Don't get me wrong. I love the show. The different personalities are truly great and the acting it very well preformed.
I even get a little goose bombs sometimes when it gets really supernatural. I am not a US citizen frankly I only just heard of the show and have only watched 7 episodes so there might be 'proof' out there that show these people are real and if thats the case I will be even more amazed by how well there lifes are scripted into great entertainment. No other 'reality' show even comes close to their level. Its almost too good to be true ;) |

I've gone on one of the Ghost Hunter's trips to Eastern State Penn in Philadelphia and my impression of the guys is that they are absolutely who they appear to be on TV. It isn't scripted and they are real.
With that said, I think there are big problems with the Manson Murders episode. In the first place, the homeowner is trying to get a distributor for a bad movie he made about the murders and didn't tell TAPs. Also, if you go to the SciFi site, there seems to be pretty good evidence that some of the Thermal cam footage was doctored, most likely by the production company without TAPs knowledge. And the show was also edited to appear as if Jason and Grant endorse the KII meter. In fact, they don't. The episode was misguided. I think, however, that they will learn from these mistakes and get back on track. |
